Ages 6–17 | Home Education Special
A creative space for home-educated young people to explore colour, learn art techniques, build confidence and express themselves without pressure or perfection.
State of Play is a weekly creative session designed especially for home-educated children and teens.
Each week we’ll explore a different theme, artist, material or technique through abstract and expressive art. Sessions may include acrylic painting, pouring techniques, texture work, mixed media, collage and colour psychology.
There are no grades, no right or wrong answers and no pressure to be “good” at art. Instead, young people are encouraged to experiment, trust their ideas and build confidence through creativity.
Children will leave with new techniques, finished artwork, creative confidence and the freedom to express themselves in their own unique way.
Located at Penistone Education Hub 98 High St, Penistone, Sheffield S36 6BR on street parking available.
LIMITED TO 10 SPACES.
Adults can come for free to accompany their child/ren or leave confidently with Sarah who is a qualified art therapist and fully DBS checked.
